About Brittany

My name is Brittany Clements.  I am a wife, mother of two young kids, and I love the game of golf.

My love for the game started young as I grew up on a golf course in a small town in western Nebraska.  I had a successful high school career that included winning multiple tournaments, setting various records, and ended by winning the High School State Tournament.  I played golf for the University of Arizona during my freshman year of college before transferring to Creighton University to finish out my collegiate golf career.  My experience at the University of Arizona was both exciting and challenging.  In addition to being surrounded by top caliber golfers, I had the opportunity to meet two of the greatest women golfers ever, Annika Sorenstam and Lorena Ochoa, who have served as an inspiration for me based on their on and off the course achievements.  While at Arizona I quickly decided that I didn’t want to pursue golf beyond college and I missed my family.  A culmination of these factors helped guide my decision to return to Nebraska and attend Creighton University.  It turns out this was the best decision of my life as this is where I met my future husband, Dave, and we now have two wonderful kids, Max and Andi.

As mentioned, my love for the game of golf started young.  I worked a summer job at the golf course in a variety of roles from the time I was 13 until my junior year of college.  I did everything from cleaning clubs and picking up range balls to working in the pro shop and leading efforts for the local junior golf program.

My dad taught me the game of golf and through it I have learned many key lessons around honesty, integrity, respect, humility, perseverance, and passion.  After my dad’s unexpected passing during my junior year of high school, I poured myself into golf and in return it helped me to get through some very difficult times.  I will forever cherish the time my dad and I spent out on the course and the lessons learned, all facilitated through the game of golf.  As my kids continue to grow, this is something I hope to share with them as well.

Fast-forward to today and I am living in Minnesota with my family.  I still enjoy playing golf, albeit a little more difficult to get out on the course with a full-time job and two young kids.  I generally get out at least once a week and maintain a handicap of 4.  For me, the golf course is my happy place.  It a place where I can connect with my husband and kids, get exercise (18 holes equates to walking over 5 miles!!!), feed my competitive nature, socialize with friends, and relax while taking in the beautiful landscape.  I can’t think of many other activities that check all of these boxes.

I am passionate about the game of golf and want others to benefit from all of the great things it has to offer.  That's why I created this site - to share this passion, have a little fun, and help women feel comfortable and confident on the golf course.
